Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) Course
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: We are continuing to monitor the development of the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our participants and our communities is our utmost priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel all in-person courses through the end of March 2021, adding online webinars instead.
We will regularly assess the viability of our live in-person courses. Where possible, we may adapt an in-person course into an adjusted online format or add our usual 7-week online format course. We will notify participants at least a month in advance if these steps need to be taken. Participants will have the opportunity to cancel without penalty should the adjusted schedule no longer work for them.
A nationally-recognized certification program for nonprofit accounting professionals, CNAP earns high accolades from graduates for its comprehensive curriculum. CNAP offers those on the nonprofit financial management and accounting front line comprehensive training on every component of nonprofit financial management.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites to take this course; however, in order to receive the CNAP certification, participants must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in a fiscal management capacity at a nonprofit organization. Participants without the requisite experience can still take the course and submit proof of their work experience once they have completed the requirement.
Advanced preparation: None.
