Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) Certificate Training Program
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: We are continuing to monitor the development of the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our participants and our communities is our utmost priority. We will regularly assess the viability of our live in-person courses. Where possible, we may adapt an in-person course into an online webinar format. We will notify participants at least a month in advance if these steps need to be taken. Participants will have the opportunity to cancel without penalty should the adjusted schedule no longer work for them. Please reach out to FMAcnap@bdo.com if you have any questions or concerns.
A nationally-recognized certification program for nonprofit accounting professionals, CNAP earns high accolades from graduates for its comprehensive curriculum. CNAP offers those on the nonprofit financial management and accounting front line comprehensive training on every component of nonprofit financial management.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites to take this course; however, in order to receive the CNAP certification, participants must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in a fiscal management capacity at a nonprofit organization. Participants without the requisite experience can still take the course and submit proof of their work experience once they have completed the requirement.
Advanced preparation: None.
